I purchased this product for my two RES and have loved it since it arrived. The turtles adjusted to it immediately, and bask on it several times a day. The plastic on top is sturdy and fits standard light clamps well, and the grate on top allows for easy access.

I have one very minor issue. When you have two lamps clamped, you can’t open the door on top. Sure, you can take the clamps off, but having to re-set up the lights the exact way you want after makes it not worth it. A door on the side would have been nice, but I really don’t have a problem just taking the top off.
