I went against my own logic and attempted to go the cheap route by placing some Hartz brand flea stuff about the cats. Duh! Water would have labored much better. I’ve had my GTP for over a year and have been using this product since the beginning. She has flourished greatly due to the ease of using this product in conjuction with a heat panel and the hygrotherm. All I have to do is change the water in the bottle. I do recommend using distilled water since I am here to buy another one due to mineral buildup. Make sure to clean inside the unit itself when changing the water to avoid buildup. Great product.

Makes alot of fog quickly and for extended periods of time. Will humidifiy your reptile cage. Be sure to mount hose so that it puts fog into the cage from above, not from a side wall as water will collect in the tube and drip. I you mount it with the hose pointing down into the cage any drips will fall back into the machine instead of the cage. Use distilled water to keep it running in god condition and avoid mineral build up which will cause it to stop working. Good product.

I have my two red ear sliders in a 55 gallon tank, theryre about 4 to 5 inches across. I can fill the tank for maximum swimming space and they can go up to the “penthouse” for a nap via the ramp, stay dry with all the proper lighting and plenty of space for both of them to bask. The underneath underwater bench is where they sleep and rest during the night. They are secure and extremely happy little guys. We found them wandering around our back porch when they were no bigger then quarters. Today they live in the lap of luxury with their own penthouse. I highly recommend this topper to anyone with a tank. The suction cups on either side secure to most any size tank..I love this product and am so happy someone put it on the market! It beats those suction docks big time and the turtles stay completely dry, very important!

I purchased this product for my two RES and have loved it since it arrived. The turtles adjusted to it immediately, and bask on it several times a day. The plastic on top is sturdy and fits standard light clamps well, and the grate on top allows for easy access.

I have one very minor issue. When you have two lamps clamped, you can’t open the door on top. Sure, you can take the clamps off, but having to re-set up the lights the exact way you want after makes it not worth it. A door on the side would have been nice, but I really don’t have a problem just taking the top off. All in all, I absolutely love the Turtle Topper, and at around fifty bucks you really can’t go wrong. Great price for an amazing product, I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you Reptology!
