This product has been a life saver. We often joked about getting a robot to take care of the cat as the child has arrived and this is the closest thing to it! We have a cat that gorges and food and then raises the whole house. This allowed us to give its smaller feedings per day, without having to be there all the time and that has contributed to its bad habit vomiting. It took some time to form his own, but it was very easy to use. Our only complaint – the LCD has been damaged and not showing all the numbers at the end of the hours and minutes. This was fine as we have always set the hours.

Unlike many products of this type, this really works. It ‘easy to program the digital timer, easy to open the lid, and my cat has not been able to get food from when it is time. Make enough noise when turning so that the cat feels.
As with other power rotary type, if it says 5 meal feeder feeder 4 is truly a meal unless you also want to feed your pet right away.

Drinkwell 360 Pet FountainI purchased this fountain before there were any reviews, so I was a little nervous. I have bought the original fountain, and found it was nice, but a little difficult to clean. I am happy to say that this fountain is very easy to clean, easy to change the filter, and my cats love it. I have a multi-cat household, and I have seen 3 of them drinking at a time. It is very easy to add water to also. I would recommend it even though it is a little costly.

All of the other fountains I’ve seen have small compartments that are hard to clean and water resevoirs that are annoying to refill and clean as well. This product is easy to clean and add water to! My cats love it and the design makes it very easy for them to drink.

We loved the idea of our cats having new angles to drink from as they love the previous version of the fountain we own, but as soon as we tried to use this one there was too much splatter from each stream and the floor around it would get wet. Since we have wood floor in the place we wanted to use this, it was impossible to keep it dry and we had to return this and go back to use the original Drinkwell fountain.

The cats love it! AND the big improvement is in the ease of cleaning. This design is vastly easier to maintain and refill. If you have cats or small dogs, I highly recommend this product to increase their water intake. The older design had too many small areas that were very difficult to keep clean. I suspect a lot of the old drinkwell fountains ended up not being used for this reason. This design simply wipes clean.

I just wanted pet lovers to know this product is ALOT cheaper buying through Amazon . I have always bought the filters from a Pet Store and thought I was getting a good deal. Boy was I WRONG !!!! I got 3 packs of refill filters (9 in all ) for the same price of 1 pack at the Pet Store. I will definately refer to Amazon when I buy other things ! Amazon has saved me lots of money so I can buy more for the Pet in my life.

Absolutely amazing how fast this showed up! I live in Alaska and the idea of ordering something online and having it arrive that week is just mind boggling! And the price of the products themselves! Oh my! Here, the same 3-per package is $20+! I would absolutely recommend this product to other people, and I plan to buy all of my Drinkwell accessories and products from this website.

I have been purchasing filters for our water fountains for quite awhile. I prefer to change them more often than suggested and with the current state of the economy pricing does matter. I found this supplier to be very fair and the shipping was prompt. I would recommend these/them to anyone.

My cats LOVE the Drinkwell fountains and we have one of the older original models out on the screen porch and one of the newer Platinum models in the kitchen. These original 2-chamber filters will work fine in both models so I don’t buy the more expensive 3-chamber filters that are marketed for the Platinum fountain. If you have any cats I highly recommend trying these fountains, and of course, these filters. Don’t bother buying the more expensive filters, just stick with these.

I was finished cleaning my Drinkwell fountain and didn’t realize I had the last filter. I didn’t bother putting the filter back in. Why would Frank, my cat, know the difference. Frank refused to drink from the fountain. He has been using it religiously for ten years. At 2:00 a.m. in the morning, he was sucking on the tub faucet, which is something he hasn’t done in years. So, yeah, the filters do make a difference in taste and I immediately ordered some more online. (I dug the older, 6 week old filter out of the wastebasket and Frank went back to the fountain.)I had to respond to the person who said it doesn’t make a difference. It sure did to my Frank. I bought the fountain when he just wouldn’t drink water out of a bowl and his kidneys were abnormal at age two. He’s twelve now and his kidneys are dandy. I love the Drinkwell, filter and all. I want my Frank around a long time. Without the drinkwell, his kidneys wouldn’t have lasted long. That just shows you how important water is to your kidneys, people and pets alike.

I just got my first kitten ever about a month ago. She is so much fun and so energetic, and I only want the best for her. I got her one of those water bowls with the attached jug at the top of it, but I found that I had to clean it so often because of the stagnant water. And Cleo (that’s her name) just didn’t even want to touch that water at some points. I guess it wasn’t fresh anymore. So, one of my friends who has a cat swore to me that I had to get Cleo a water fountain. I started researching different brands and came across Drinkwell and Petmate. I compared both fountains, read each product’s customer reviews, and settled on purchasing this model, mainly because the cheaper model with the additional reservoir would end up costing about 5 to 10 dollars less than this supposed “better” version, so I went ahead and splurged for the kitty’s sake. I set it up and she just adores it. She plays with the running water with her paw and loves to drink directly from the spout. She is drinking more than she ever was before, and that means a healthy kitty and a happy mommy

I’ve had Drinkwell fountains for years and loved them, as did our cats. Time for another one, and upgraded to the Platinum model. It is bigger, with a better design in putting it back together after cleaning; however, it is really big. You have to have a very large sink, or clean it in the bathtub. It is very difficult to hold in one hand while wiping all the crevices with the other hand. Putting a filled reservoir back on the fountain requires more graceful moves than I have, so water goes everywhere. I liked the older model much better.

Bought this because my cat is having kidney problems and needs lots of water. Surprisingly, he doe not drink from the falling water like he does from faucets but he really likes the agitated water. Additionally it is always clean filtered water 24/7. I love the large capacity. Water addition could not be easier. Lift the clear reservoir out of the unit with its built in handle, carry over to the sink, unscrew the cap, and fill it up, screw cap back on and drop the reservoir in place. A valve on the unit effectively eliminates water leakage. One review thought this was difficult but I can not imagine a better design unless you want to plumb is in directly! I have not gone through the cleaning routine yet. The accompanying manual goes through incredible detail about how to clean the product even to the extent of dismantling the motor. I am sure this is something that will be important to do to keep the unit in top shape so this bit could put off some people. Fit and finish is great. Noise of the unit is roughly equivalent to a aquarium pump, that is pretty quiet in my book. Best unit of its kind. Highly recommended!

I bought this drinking fountain for my cats when I found out that I was going to have to be traveling more for work. My male cat has a tendency to knock over his water bowl, and if I am not there he and his sister will have nothing to drink. It took my cats about half an hour before they were really comfortable with this, but since then they love it. I fill it up about once a week, and Max and Mavis have a steady flow of fresh water. It is a little more complicated than putting out a bowl of water, but it sets my mind at ease to know that they always have water to drink. I highly recommend it!
